Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric 1v4 horror multiplayer game developed and published by Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive, first released on June 14, 2016.
The game features 1v4 asymmetric gameplay: one player takes the role of the Killer (first-person perspective), while four players play as Survivors (third-person perspective). Survivors must cooperate to repair 5 generators to power the exit gates and escape, while the Killer must find, down, and hook Survivors for sacrifice to the Entity.
DBD is known for its unique horror atmosphere, tense chase experience, and rich character roster. The game continuously collaborates with renowned horror IPs including Halloween, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Stranger Things, Ringu, Alien, Child's Play, and more, constantly bringing new killers, survivors, and maps to players.
